For some time now it seems the focus from the manufacturers has been on the mid to high range metal detectors. Several new metal detectors in those ranges have hit the market over the past few years and for good reason.
The focus has really been on the mid-price range I believe due to the popularity of the Garrett AT line of metal detectors. When Nokta Makro announced the Simplex at the Detectival event in England a lot of people took notice, including me.
I can say until the Simplex announcement I have never really been excited about a beginner range metal detector or at least nothing like this. With it not ready to be released it is very hard to get information about the new metal detector but there are a few things worth mentioning.
So far it appears to be on a straight shaft, light weight and I hear that a DD coil is going to be offered on it at least at one of the price points. It is also going to be waterproof and have wireless capabilities for headphones! For these reasons I keep telling people to take notice. As far as I see it Nokta Makro is the most innovative manufacturer out there. I currently own three different Nokta Makro metal detectors and although I have not used the Simplex yet I have no doubt it will be a great metal detector.
This detector is set to take over the entry level price range! Although it has not been announced officially I have heard rumors its set to be launched sometime in April.
I for one am excited to see what Nokta Makro Simplex metal detector is capable of and I think it could start a whole new trend among the metal detector manufacturers! Your email address will not be published.

Even if the machine needs improving after release any manufacturer that puts out a detector without an update feature will be resistant to the very idea. Good to know thanks. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment.

Well to get to the point Her excellent English has a definite Turkish accent - but the other accent is pure New Jersey!
Interesting low priced detector for sure. That would be perfect for fresh water beache, tot lots, sand courts and river hunts for me. I'll just need a small coil for the river.
Kenny [ www. Daniel Tn. I'm not a detector dealer by any means but I have already sold 2 of the Simplex units and it isn't even on the market yet. I sent the picture that was posted of it to a couple of my buddies that don't follow the forum and told them what I had read about it I may even get one myself for just freshwater beach hunting. Those type places, when hunting for freshly lost stuff, it's not going to be deep.
All a person needs is a waterproof machine to get to the stuff before someone else does. Looks like it has the same 11" DD round coil as the Anfibio goodwireless, brought back the LED flashlight can be useful!
Next year I expect we'll see their SMF detector, which Dilek said will share the same housing as the Simplex, looks like it's built like a tank, lightweight, and I like how much it collapses down, perfect for a backpack!
Well done team Nokta On a non-related note, that tool over at md-hunter is just copying everything that's posted here on his website, and apparently isn't smart enough to know that when a question was raised on the Simplex thread about their new SMF detector that it was a different machine and just blindly posted it on his copy and past Simplex thread - LMAO Edited 2 time s. She also mentioned that it has a beach mode for salt water hunting Sounds good weight wise and price wise.
I may have missed. Was there any mention of smaller coils available for Simplex?? Edited 2 time s. I was wondering the same thing also I remember a podcast interview she did where she mentioned that all their new machines would share coils and connectors. I believe she meant the Kruzer connector as it is already shared with Anfibio.
IP Fully submersible up to 3 meters 10 ft and protected from total dust ingress. Built-in Wireless Module: Compatible with 2. Ideal for the hearing impaired users as well as for detection underwater. You can use a 5V 1A adapter similar to the adapter included with a smartphone to charge.
I have to admit this machine is "Simply Unrivaled" in its class especially for the pricepoint that it sits at. The quality and craftsmanship of the control box is superior, the rubberized thick handle is definitively rugged.
My first day out in the park took awhile to get use to the settings, especially learning to adapt to a different VDI scale since I have been using whites electronics detectors exclusively for over 20 years. Why change? Oh and there is nothing wrong with trying something new either. On my first day out at the park I found some clad coins, i never have to this park so i was getting use to that as well.
I used the park mode program and I left all the settings default. I tried to adjust using the F1,F2,F3 frequency scans setting but that didn't help, I then reduced the sensitivity and that reduced the pop level but not entirely.
I did have some powerlines nearby which may have contributed to the poppping, but what was throwing me off was when i turned on the TRX thats when the popping would start, once off popping was gone. So, if the popping stopped when the TRX turned on then logically i would tend to think it was the pinpointer and the SImplex just not cooperating to get along. Day 2 at a different park went incredibly well and I was stoked at the machines ability to separate targets even if there were different clad coins buried together see my youtube video and watch to see what I mean.
So it had to have been the power lines doing some funky stuff. Watch my video on youtube of the Day 2 coin spill and successful digs with a surprise find!! Ordered on Friday, received on Saturday. How did they do that?!
NOKTA SIMPLEX+ -- FIELD TEST
I'm 2 states away. The detector looks and feels well made. Great value. Can't wait to use it. I've been detecting for over 45 years starting out with BFO machines. I want to start getting into lake detecting which I've never done much of. The Simplex seems to fit the bill for the price. Nokta figured out what everyone else hasn't over 50 years. Also, I highly recommend Kellyco as your purchase place! You may save a couple of dollars buying on e-bay or Amazon, stick with the pros, you will not regret it.

IWA 2019 News -- Nokta/Makro Simplex
Three decades of superior customer care has been the key to their success and large sales volume.Be sure and turn on the English subtitles under the video settings if you don't know the language. Great video Shelton - thanks for posting! I think the Simplex is going to shake up the industry just like the Equinox has. At one point it has been mentioned as a 12 kHz detector and I see a note in your video it may be 13 - 14 kHz?
If true, makes me wonder if this is based on a Racer2 platform? A lightweight, submersible R2 would be a great detector IMO, especially given the entry level pricing! The article contains information about the device operating frequency, its search coil type, if headphones are included into the package set, how long the device works using one batteries set as well as other important things.
Simplex is a metal detector for beginners. It is completely waterproof. The device is both ground and underwater metal detector.
NEW Nokta Makro Simplex is Coming!!
This device has classical set of functions peculiar to metal detectors of this class: automatic ground balance function, several discrimination modes, pinpointer, backlit, etc. The metal detector also has some pre-set search modes, including a beach hunting mode. At that, the device menu is rather user-friendly.
However, the main advantage of this new metal detector is its lowest ever price. The rivalry between metal detectors of beginner level is rather high on the market. The most important thing is the ratio between the functionalities and the price of the device. This is when the Turkish manufacturer has done something impossible — it has created a modern, easy-to-use metal detector with sufficient number of functions available for rather affordable price.
This is a common approach used by the company, since when I bought Nokta Impact, the device also had two package sets available on sale. The price difference of the package sets equals about US dollars it depends on where you buy the metal detector. I had many issues with these. When you dig a lot, quite often you have to put a metal detector on the ground, which ends up with pulling the headphones wire when you stop digging and stand up.
If you go treasure hunting in the fields or in the forest, the wire clings to grass and bushes, which is very inconvenient. In this case, you can forget about beach hunting and metal detecting in parks, since you will annoy the holidayers. They once came to me in the evening asking to turn off my radio, since sounds produced by the metal detector reminded them radio noises.
This metal detector model has rather modern and stylish appearance, especially if compared with classical metal detectors for beginner diggers. The device has a light-weight shaft of adjustable length with a plastic ergonomic armrest. I consider such a technical approach to be a more convenient one. S-shaped shaft with a polypropylene covered handle looked good and usable about 10 years ago. Having quality and convenient handle plays rather important part in the metal detector efficiency and performance as well as in obtaining good device balance.
The total shaft length is cm or 51 inches. The metal detector weighs just 2. However, the proper balance of the metal detector offsets the device weight.ПЛЮСЫ и МИНУСЫ металлоискателя Nokta Makro Simplex / Первый реальный поиск!
Simplex Plus WHP is a well-balanced metal detector, so you can use it for a long time without feeling any discomfort or tiredness. However, this is not required because due to the response rate the device performs rather good when the user waves the coil slowly.
Simplex Plus WHP is equipped with a waterproof round DD search coil, 11 inches 28 cm large, and it uses operating frequency equal to 12 kHz.
